The largest LED-based immersive screen theatre in India,
named Mission Interstellar, was inaugurated this Saturday at Wonderla
Bengaluru, a prominent amusement park. This cutting-edge attraction offers an
exhilarating flying space voyage experience within a striking eight-storey dome
structure boasting a 23-metre-high roof.
Arun K Chittilappilly, Executive Chairman and Managing
Director of Wonderla Holidays Ltd, remarked, “With Mission Interstellar, we are
ushering in a new era of immersive entertainment that seamlessly blends
cutting-edge technology with excitement.” The launch also marks Wonderla’s 25th
anniversary in the industry.
Featuring a 22m x 15m curved LED screen, Mission Interstellar aims to provide unmatched visual clarity. Guests will experience the thrill of flight utilising a hydraulic lift seating system imported from Italy, which elevates riders 40 feet into the air. This innovative system synchronises movements with high-tech laser projections and environmental effects, creating a fully immersive experience. The theatre was officially launched by Kannada actor Ashika Ranganath.
